My name is Amber Subelka, and I am a scenic artist currently residing in the New England Area.

Originally from Kansas, I have my undergraduate degree from Emporia State University, where I discovered my love of Scenic Painting thanks to my theatrical design professor Nancy Pontius, who also taught the occasional painting course. It was thanks to her encouragement that I continued on in my education. I was accepted into the MFA Theater Design program at Brandeis University in 2007 where I studied scenic artistry under Robert O. Moody. While at Brandies I was also able to take set design courses with both Karl Eigsti and Debra Booth. In 2010 I graduated with my MFA in Scenic Arts Design

In December of 2013 I became a member of the United Scenic Artist, Local USA 829.

I have a strong love of my craft and would like very much to speak with you about your show needs. Feel free to look through my website and contact me with any questions you have.
